Ganesha is probably the most popular of all Gods in The Hindu Pantheon-he represents new beginnings and Hindus invoke his blessings for every passage of life-birth,marriage,jobs,travel or a new home.
He is also a patron of the Arts,Science, creativity and wisdom and remover of obstacles.
Ganesha is therefore a perfect image to adorn a baby or child !!
